• Bangalore Royal Challengers is owned by Dr Vijay Mallya, Chairman of United Breweries Group.
• Chennai Super Kings is owned by Indian Cements.
• Delhi DareDevils is owned by the GMR Group.
• Hyderabad is owned by the Deccan Chronicle.
• Kolkata Knight Riders is owned by Red Chillies Entertainment, Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jai Mehta.
• Mohali is owned by a group including Indian film actress Preity Zinta and Bombay Dyeing company heir Ness Wadia.
• Mumbai Indians is owned by Reliance Industries Limited.
• Rajasathan Royals is owned by the Emerging Media group.
